TuscanHound Air was formed from our sister company, TuscanHound Florence, which was founded in 2009 by Maryanne Day and co-owned with Chloe Waller.
Upon moving to Florence, Italy in 2008 she saw a need for pet care services for travelers and residents alike.
As many of our clients were traveling with their pets, there was never a good option for getting them to and from their destinations without having to go in the cargo hold of a plane.
Having a very large dog herself (an Irish wolfhound-sheepdog mix) it was unbearable to think of any large pet or breed specific pet having to travel in the belly of the plane.
With this in mind, TuscanHound Air was born! Offering concierge global transport for you and your pet of any size on one of our TuscanHound Air flights or through Global Pet Concierge for the solo traveling pet accompanied by one of our experienced staff members. Plus, we offer customized pet care at your global destinations. Your confidentiality and privacy is always prioritized. We will get your pet to their destination, in cabin, calm, safe and happy.
