This Contract of Carriage outlines the terms and conditions governing the transportation of pets and their owners by TuscanHound Air (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By booking a service with us, you (“passenger” or “pet owner”) agree to the following terms.
1. General Conditions
- This contract applies to all transport services provided by TuscanHound Air, including private jet and road transport services.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to any passenger or pet that does not comply with these terms.
- TuscanHound Air does not guarantee flight or transport schedules and is not responsible for delays caused by weather, operational issues, or government regulations.
2. Pet Travel Requirements
- All pets must meet the health, vaccination, and documentation requirements of their destination country.
- Owners must provide accurate information regarding their pet’s weight, breed, and special requirements.
- Pets are transported in-cabin with a caregiver; no pets will be placed in cargo.
3. Owner’s Responsibilities
- The pet owner is responsible for providing all necessary documentation (e.g., vaccination records, health certificates, permits).
- Any failure to provide the correct documents resulting in denied travel or entry is the responsibility of the owner, and no refunds will be issued.
- The owner must ensure their pet is in good health and fit for travel.
4. Liability and Limitations
- While we take every precaution to ensure safe and comfortable travel, TuscanHound Air is not liable for:
- Illness, injury, or death of a pet during transport due to pre-existing conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
- Any loss, damage, or delays caused by factors beyond our control, including airline cancellations, customs delays, or natural disasters.
- Pet owners are encouraged to obtain appropriate travel insurance for their pets.
5. Flight and Transport Changes
- TuscanHound Air reserves the right to adjust flight schedules, change aircraft, or alter routes as necessary.
- In case of unexpected delays or cancellations, we will notify clients as soon as possible and offer alternative solutions.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellations by the Client:
- Cancellations made within 14 days of departure are non-refundable.
- Cancellations made before the 14-day period may be eligible for a partial refund, subject to administrative fees.
- Cancellations by TuscanHound Air:
- If we must cancel a flight due to operational or safety reasons, we will offer a full refund or alternative transport options.
7. Behavior & Conduct
- The pet owner must follow all instructions provided by our staff and caregivers during the journey.
- Any aggressive or disruptive behavior by the pet or owner may result in refusal of service without a refund.
8. Governing Law
